📋 Description

• Build and own core member-facing features end to end • Set architectural patterns and best practices • Solve client-side lifecycle and state management problems • Partner with server engineering on API design, data correctness, and client-server state synchronization • Work with product, design, and data science to scope, experiment with, and launch member-facing features • Focus on interaction, motion, and performance details • Contribute to performance, testing practices, and technical debt management across a large iOS codebase • Own production health for core flows, including monitoring, crash triage, and release quality • Raise engineering standards through code review, mentorship, and clear written specifications

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional iOS development experience • Strong proficiency in Swift, UIKit, and MVVM • Strong experience with RxSwift or similar reactive programming frameworks • Track record of shipping consumer mobile apps to large audiences • Strong judgment on architecture, performance, and user experience • Strong consumer product sense and a high bar for design quality • Ability to partner with product, design, and data • Proven ability to lead projects from concept through launch • Ability to balance speed and quality and own shipped work post-launch • Daily use of AI coding tools and ability to help the team adopt them • Experience with StoreKit 2, subscriptions, paywall or pricing experiments, and subscription analytics • Experience with Mapbox or complex map-based interfaces • Familiarity with SwiftUI alongside UIKit and modularizing a large iOS codebase • Experience with backend development, APIs, and services • Experience with Redux-style state management patterns
