📋 Description

• Investigate and resolve non-litigated and litigated First Party PIP and MedPay claims of varying complexity • Process non-medical benefits such as loss wages, funeral benefits, and other benefits • Contact insureds, attorneys, medical providers, and other relevant parties to complete investigations • Keep relevant parties informed of claim status • Work within the claims system and with preferred partners to ensure quality documentation • Evaluate the need for medical management when appropriate • Process submitted bills in accordance with statutory requirements • Identify potential fraud indicators and work with SIU when appropriate • Resolve claims according to state and company guidelines • Work non-traditional hours when needed • Perform other assigned responsibilities • Provide Branch members with clear expectations and support throughout the claims process

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of progressive front-line, multi-state PIP and MedPay claims-handling experience • 1+ year of litigated claims resolution experience, including directing outside panel counsel, preferred • Adjuster license(s) and multi-state claims-handling experience strongly preferred, especially MI, NY, NJ, and FL • Knowledge of venue-specific No-Fault laws and regulations, including MCCA • Experience with bill adjudication • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization • Ability to work non-traditional hours • Member-focused approach and willingness to exceed expectations • Creative, out-of-the-box problem-solving ability • Ability to make decisions with imperfect information • Remote work experience preferred • Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States • Employer does not sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas
