📋 Description

• Support the day-to-day management and execution of Wildfire Long-Term Recovery Programs • Oversee day-to-day management and administrative operations across the Long-Term Recovery portfolio • Support execution and follow-through on operational priorities • Manage internal team processes, workflows and administrative systems across concurrent operations • Track progress against operational goals and deliverables, flagging risks or delays to the Director • Coordinate scheduling, staffing logistics and deployment planning, including surge and backstop coverage • Support onboarding and day-to-day management of team members • Manage internal reporting and documentation processes • Monitor program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative data • Advocate for program improvements • Directly supervise assigned team members, including check-ins, performance management and professional development support • Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as needed • Liaise with Regional and National Headquarters volunteer and paid staff • Travel routinely throughout wildfire-impacted areas • Report to the Director of Wildfire Long-Term Recovery Programs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred • Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience • Minimum 3 years of experience as supervisor or manager of workforce engaged in direct client contact in an outcomes-based social-services environment • Strong skills in community organizing, case management and/or partner-agency relations • Thoughtful leadership, team orientation, critical thinking, flexibility, adaptability and positive attitude • Cultural sensitivity and awareness • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills • Strong program management capacity • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks • Ability to manage multiple programs and shifting priorities • Ability to identify challenges and develop solutions • Sound and thoughtful judgment • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook • Ability to utilize online project management tools with ease • Experience in disaster response/recovery preferred • Experience building and supporting a volunteer workforce preferred • Routine travel throughout wildfire-impacted areas • Work primarily performed in California/Pacific Time Zone
