📋 Description

• Plan resources, equipment, and time for commissioning, repair, or maintenance expertise • Perform erection, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HV/MV electrical substation apparatus • Perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of LV AC/DC systems, including distribution panels, batteries, battery chargers, and inverters • Manage and assist customer workers and/or switching personnel on site with LOTO • Prepare progress reports, test results, and non-compliance reports • Annotate and edit as-built drawings • Participate in drafting technical procedures • Submit technical documentation required for equipment operation and maintenance to external customers and internal teams • Provide supplemental information as needed • Provide technical assistance in preparing tenders • Participate in developing inspection criteria with customers and the engineering team • Ensure EHS site team compliance • Provide technical assistance to sales specialists during customer visits • Train and support colleagues in commissioning and maintenance tasks • Provide 24/24 emergency support • Collaborate with clients and the engineering group on commissioning and maintenance of Medium and High Voltage products and apparatus support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or technical degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably specializing in electrical substations or HV/MV apparatus, or equivalent relevant experience in electrical engineering • Minimum 5 years of field experience in Electrical Substation • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients and workers • Advanced knowledge of electrical and electronic testing equipment • Fluency in English is mandatory • French is a plus • Knowledge of AutoCAD • Knowledge of MS Office Suite • Analytical skills • Leadership skills • Willingness to travel 80% of the time • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
