📋 Description

• Serve as Product Owner for DataHub and act as the voice of the customer to the Agile team • Translate product strategy into prioritized team objectives • Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to balance customer needs, business value, technical considerations, and delivery objectives • Manage and prioritize the product backlog • Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery objectives • Lead backlog refinement and participate in iteration planning, PI Planning, sprint reviews, system demonstrations, and other Agile and SAFe events • Partner with data governance, architecture, security, and engineering stakeholders on data quality, metadata, lineage, access, privacy, and stewardship requirements • Collaborate with the delivery team to define acceptance criteria, quality expectations, and release readiness • Use stakeholder feedback, operational metrics, and business needs to drive continuous product improvement • Communicate product strategy, priorities, risks, progress, and outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Balance near-term delivery priorities with long-term scalability, sustainability, and evolution of the DataHub platform and enterprise data strategy

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of Product Owner or Product Management experience leading product discovery, prioritization, roadmap development, and delivery within Agile organizations • 4-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence • Experience working within a SAFe environment, including PI Planning, backlog prioritization, dependency coordination, and collaboration across Agile teams • Must be authorized to work in the United States • American Red Cross does not sponsor employment visas • Ability to work an east coast schedule • Experience with data engineering, data warehousing, analytics platforms, or related technologies • Approximately 10% domestic annual travel • SAFe certification preferred • Experience with enterprise data platforms, data warehousing, data integration, analytics ecosystems, and SQL preferred • Experience within Biomedical and/or regulated domains is a plus
