📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end technical architecture for Finance systems, including ERP, close management, planning and consolidation, data pipelines, and adjacent tooling • Develop and maintain a Finance systems roadmap aligned with Reddit’s growth, M&A activity, and evolving reporting requirements • Evaluate build-versus-buy decisions and provide the technical perspective on Finance technology investments • Establish and enforce architectural standards, integration patterns, and data governance practices • Partner with Corporate Engineering, Data Engineering, and Security on scalable, compliant, well-integrated Finance systems • Personally own delivery of systems engineering work • Configure, integrate, and maintain Finance platforms such as NetSuite, Workday, Coupa, Zip, and Adaptive • Design and build integrations between Finance systems and upstream and downstream data sources • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation for Finance system issues • Support M&A activity through systems due diligence, gap analysis, and integration planning • Design and manage scalable data pipelines using tools such as Workato and BigQuery • Act as the primary technical liaison for Finance leadership • Translate business requirements into architectural decisions and communicate tradeoffs • Partner with Finance stakeholders to identify pain points and surface system improvements • Help stakeholders articulate needs, size effort, and sequence work effectively • Manage a small, high-impact team and shape Finance technology strategy

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems engineering, or a closely related technical discipline • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Finance technology stacks, including ERP, P2P, R2R, or similar • Familiarity with NetSuite, Workato, Adaptive, Zip, Coupa, Ramp, Workday, Salesforce, or comparable platforms • Hands-on proficiency with systems integration, APIs, ETL/ELT, iPaaS tools, and Finance-context data modeling • Ability to operate across executive architecture discussions and technical implementation details • Experience building and managing data pipelines • Familiarity with Workato and BigQuery • Familiarity with analytics engineering practices and tools such as Hex or Looker • Experience supporting M&A workstreams is a strong plus • Excellent communication skills • Experience at a high-growth public technology company is a bonus • Background working with Corporate Engineering or shared services models is a bonus • Exposure to SOX compliance considerations in systems design is a bonus
