📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications and services. • Ensure system performance, security, and scalability. • Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver high-quality products. • Contribute to the full development cycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch. • Review code and design documents and provide feedback on product specifications and mocks. • Set and define standards that improve developer workflows. • Recommend best practices and coach and mentor engineers on the team. • Continuously learn and improve technical and non-technical abilities. • Build and enhance Reddit products serving community builders.

🎯 Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or computer science-related field. • 5+ years of software engineering experience in a scalable computing environment. • Ability to take end-to-end ownership of projects, from initial design to deployment and maintenance. • A passion for learning and adapting to new technologies. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. • Entrepreneurial spirit; self-directed, innovative, action-oriented, comfortable building new things, thriving in ambiguity, and navigating failure. • Experience or knowledge relevant to Go, Python, Swift, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, BigQuery, Redis, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and Docker.
