📋 Description

• Collaborate with project and customer team members to meet timelines and goals • Contribute to project documentation and diagrams, including quality assurance and ticket and bug management • Mentor and share knowledge with customers • Guide telecommunications clients in adopting automation techniques and DevOps processes to improve cloud lifecycle, infrastructure and application uptime, availability, and time-to-market • Analyze client business requirements and translate them into technology, system, and application designs aligned with long-term business goals • Lead architecture design activities and sessions • Integrate systems and technologies to meet end-customer requirements • Design and advocate for cloud technology solutions using robust design principles, integration points, automation, and orchestration • Build customer trust through in-person and remote interactions • Coordinate cross-functional Red Hat Product, Product Engineering, Support, Professional Services, and Sales teams • Serve as a customer advocate to deliver innovative, reliable, and supported solutions • Travel to customer sites

🎯 Requirements

• 5–8 years in a related technology position • 4+ years of experience with public cloud and Linux technologies • 4+ years of experience with telecommunications technologies and networking infrastructure • 2+ years of experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Puppet, Chef, Salt, or Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform • 2+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, ACM, ACS, Quay, Ceph, or Kubernetes • Thorough knowledge of NFV, DPDK, SR-IOV, ZTP, cloud SDN or storage disciplines, and DevOps models and technologies • Experience with FiberChannel/FCoE, iSCSI, NFS, or other software-defined storage technologies • Extensive Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration and design experience • Experience with KVM, QEMU, OpenStack, OpenShift Virtualization, and VMware • Experience with AppDev automation and pipelines, including Jenkins, Tekton, or ArgoCD • Experience with VLANs, routing protocols, 4G/5G, IPAM solutions, and load balancers • Experience designing and delivering implementations using public and private cloud infrastructure technologies and providers • Interest and knowledge in AI/ML technologies and recent developments • Admin-level familiarity with vSphere, RHV, Nutanix, or OpenStack • Advanced VMware infrastructure knowledge, including ESX, vCenter, switches/NSX, datastores, vSAN, vVols, vRealize, SRM, and backup software • Knowledge of Aria/vRealize Suite, SRM, backup software, and performance tools • Experience with OpenStack, Red Hat Virtualization, Microsoft Hyper-V, AWS, and Microsoft Azure is a plus • Experience in the telecommunications industry • Ability to work in the United States or Canada near a primary airport • Ability to travel to customer sites • Must handle confidential or sensitive customer information according to Red Hat policies and applicable privacy laws
