📋 Description

• Manage, develop, and maintain the HSE Management System and DOT Programs for regional fixed locations • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal occupational health and safety, DOT, and EPA regulations • Implement, maintain, and improve health and safety policies, procedures, training, processes, and risk/hazard assessments • Support Rockies and Central regions across SLC, ID, MT, WY, ND, CO, TX, and OK • Develop site-specific programs and plans • Conduct scheduled site visits and safety meetings with branches • Identify and control site-specific hazards and risks with local management • Monitor and implement regional training programs • Hold branches accountable for safety and DOT program compliance • Develop and implement emergency response plans, programs, drills, and scenarios • Assist with loss control and crisis management • Report HSE/DOT non-compliance or negligence to management • Manage incidents and investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective-action recommendations • Support disability management, workers' compensation claims, return-to-work, and modified-work programs • Conduct field and client audits, inspections, observations, onboarding, and orientations • Chair safety meetings, document minutes, and contribute to agendas and topics • Perform formal hazard assessments and develop and maintain SOPs • Implement subcontractor and contractor management programs • Develop training programs for equipment, competencies, tasks, and locations • Develop and maintain physical demands analyses for each position • Track and report regional metrics and progress • Improve the company's safety culture and overall company culture

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent number of years of related experience and education • Degree in industrial hygiene or occupational safety is a plus • Willingness to travel 50–60% in the Rockies and Central regions, including weekly overnight stays • 5+ years of HSE experience • OSHA 30 Certification • 5+ years of experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis • 5+ years of experience in injury management and return-to-work programs • Knowledge and interpretation of DOT, OSHA, EPA, and workers' compensation legislation • Working knowledge of safety management software • Experience in program development, management, and implementation • Proficiency in electronic management systems, dashboards, Microsoft Office, and Excel • Documentation control and reporting skills • Ability to analyze information, draw logical conclusions, make sound decisions, and solve problems • Ability to work independently with initiative, judgment, and discretion • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while balancing priorities, meeting deadlines, anticipating issues, and maintaining accuracy and attention to detail • Pre-employment drug screening, including THC and other drugs • Full background check
