📋 Description

• Perform month-end close, including preparation of journal entries and accruals for monthly financials • Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain monthly balance sheet workpapers • Meet accounting and financial statement distribution deadlines • Prepare monthly management fee billing and reimbursement information for owner payment • Review and approve Accounts Payable invoices for coding accuracy • Maintain cash logs with daily activity and monitor cash balances • Interface with building management and owner representatives on financial and operational issues • Assist with annual escalation and settlement billings for CAM, RET and other applicable additional charges • Manage key financial aspects of the property, including real estate tax payments • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience/education • 1-2 years of previous accounting experience • Prior real estate experience required • Working knowledge of and experience with Yardi accounting software • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Exceptionally strong qualitative and analytical skills • Prior employment history demonstrating the ability to produce accurate work in a detailed and organized manner • Highly proficient in Microsoft-based software • Solid organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently and independently • Flexibility to work where needed
