📋 Description

• Perform accounting functions for chapters using Shared Financial Services (SFS) to ensure financials are recorded accurately and timely • Support chapters using SFS in accounting functions • Commit donation batches to Salesforce and post to NetSuite general ledger • Review check requests for proper coding and approvals • Prepare bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations for review • Record journal entries for monthly financial activity • Prepare financial reporting packages, including monthly variance reports • Review, research, and analyze data • Respond to inquiries from chapter staff • Assist with gathering information and documents for the annual audit process • Help prepare chapter audit workbooks • Assist with custom reports and queries in NetSuite and/or Excel • Build and maintain relationships with chapters • Provide support for Support Team Staff • Perform other assigned job-related duties

🎯 Requirements

• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa or other immigration sponsorship is not provided • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience in related field required • 2+ years of experience required; experience in accounting and/or financial reporting preferred • Knowledge of financial accounting, GAAP, and financial statement preparation • Familiarity with audit planning processes and procedures • Excellent knowledge of accounting and information systems applications, preferably in a non-profit environment • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel • Experience in Salesforce and NetSuite is helpful • Working knowledge of nonprofit organizations strongly preferred • Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of trust and confidentiality and possess strong business ethics • Ability to thrive in a remote environment • Ability to travel up to 10% • May require work outside a traditional Monday–Friday work week and outside normal business hours
