📋 Description

• Prepare and review US tax returns including: Individual Tax Returns (1040), Partnership Returns (1065), Corporate Returns (1120 & 1120S). • Handle bookkeeping and accounting activities for US clients using: QuickBooks Online (QBO), Xero. • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities. • Prepare and maintain: Journal entries, General ledger reconciliations, Bank and credit card reconciliations, Financial statements. • Work on amortization schedules, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and depreciation calculations. • Ensure accurate recording of accruals, adjustments, and Intercompany transactions. • Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or unusual transactions. • Maintain organized and updated accounting records and supporting documents. • Coordinate with clients for missing information and resolve accounting/tax queries. • Support preparation of work-papers and schedules for tax filings and reporting purposes. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and US taxation requirements. • Meet assigned deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality of work.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field. • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in US Accounting & Taxation. • Strong understanding of: Accounting concepts, Accrual accounting, Financial reporting, Bookkeeping principles. • Hands-on experience in: 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S tax returns, QuickBooks Online (QBO), Xero Accounting Software. • Good understanding of: Amortization and depreciation, General ledger accounting, Reconciliations and adjustments. • Experience with US taxation software is preferred (Drake, UltraTax, ProSeries, Lacerte, etc.). • Strong command over MS Excel. • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client files.
