• Use route analysis software and work-order data to create effective and efficient daily and weekly tactical route plans • Adjust territory plans for assigned branch locations • Analyze plans, resource availability, and territory • Maintain geographic codes, addresses, and customer information • Report daily metrics to the Service Planning Supervisor and Branch Managers/Technicians • Communicate routes within assigned territories to service personnel • Summarize and review plans daily with the Service Planning Supervisor • Create daily summary reports and provide them to the supervisor • Perform other duties as assigned • Collaborate with planning and scheduling leadership, branch managers, service managers, technicians, contact center colleagues, North America managers and colleagues, and key customers
• Advanced knowledge of routing and scheduling software systems • Advanced knowledge of the company’s branch service department, resources, territory structure, recurring-service planning, and schedule availability for unplanned demand • Verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking • Analytical skills and attention to detail • Advanced skills with MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents, maintenance instructions, procedural manuals, and/or government regulations • Ability to manage multiple, repetitive tasks • Basic understanding of texting software or other software needed for the role • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers and the public • Basic knowledge of the company’s operating systems • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in the service industry • 1–2 years of related experience as a dispatcher and/or customer service agent • Ability to move up to 10 pounds occasionally • Ability to sit for long periods while using computers, phones, and other office equipment • Fingering and repetitive-motion ability for typing and related tasks • Ability to communicate verbally and receive detailed oral information • Close visual acuity for preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screens, and reading • Must work inside working conditions • Must meet applicable employment requirements for a drug-free workplace
