📋 Description

• Supervise and coordinate a team of billing employees, including hiring, training, scheduling and performance management • Set performance standards and ensure adequate coverage to meet or exceed service goals • Review department performance with local leadership and recommend corrective actions • Coordinate preparation of monthly invoices and billing adjustments • Handle billing questions and discrepancies using independent judgment • Develop local billing processes, procedures and policies compliant with regional and corporate policies • Act as a resource for complex or escalated billing questions and interact with customers to resolve issues • Review billing system reports and correct discrepancies • Ensure cash receipts are processed and posted correctly to customer accounts • Support credit and collections, customer service and operations with billing questions, training and issue resolution • Prepare manual billings for non-routine, complex arrangements when needed • Gather and summarize supplemental billing information for customer requirements • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• MS Excel skills at an intermediate level • Ability to professionally and cooperatively interact and communicate with region, area and division leadership teams, staff and customers • Initiative to research and follow up on non-standard situations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures • Ability to coach, mentor and train others to meet performance expectations • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks and meet deadlines • Ability to work through others to accomplish goals and objectives • Ability to establish processes and procedures for effective department workflow • Ability to track, measure and manage performance • Thorough knowledge and understanding of billing transactions and processes • High school diploma or G.E.D. • Minimum 3 years of related billing experience at a progressively responsible level • At least 1 year supervising others or acting in a lead capacity
