📋 Description

• Provide leadership and claim technical support to a Claims Manager • Oversee work performed by Commercial Auto Claims adjusting staff • Leverage technology and analytics to improve operational effectiveness, efficiency, and performance • Balance management and individual contributor responsibilities based on claim volume • Switch between claims handling, coaching, and feedback • Serve as backup/leader when the Manager is out of office • Handle initial onboarding tasks, access, and new-hire cultural immersion • Serve as SME for first-line questions, escalations, and roundtable discussions • Implement and maintain claims-handling best practices, including intake, investigation, evaluation, settlement, and recovery • Align the team with client and customer expectations • Support escalated claims • Foster a positive work environment, teamwork, and professional growth • Attract, hire, retain, and train employees with the leadership team • Prepare and present claims reports, metrics, and analyses to clients and customers • Advise clients on claim trends and loss mitigation • Exercise increased reserve and payment authority and assist with moderate reviews • Identify topics and trends for team huddles and Elevated Claims Experience Workshops • Champion customer-centric practices

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of insurance claims experience in multiple lines of business, preference for an auto • 3+ years of leadership experience, with a preference for experience managing in a remote environment • Comfortable with technology and able to evolve claims systems and processes to drive better efficiencies and outcomes • Demonstrated commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail • Integrity, ethics, and a strong sense of accountability in handling confidential and sensitive information
