📋 Description

• Develop physical substation design packages for renewable energy substations and/or utility interconnections, including general arrangement drawings, plan/section/elevation views, equipment layouts, bus arrangements, and preliminary steel and foundation quantities • Develop grounding, lightning protection, and conduit/raceway layouts as required • Translate utility interconnection requirements and client documentation into clear, actionable preliminary physical deliverables • Produce high-quality AutoCAD drawings and 3D substation models consistent with Revamp standards • Coordinate with protection & control, civil, structural, and power systems teams to deliver integrated design packages • Review subconsultant deliverables for technical accuracy, quality, and schedule alignment

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree or greater in a related engineering discipline, Bachelor’s degree preferred • 5+ years of relevant substation physical design experience • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, including 3D Design experience • Demonstrated experience developing: General arrangement drawings • Working knowledge of high-voltage substation equipment and physical design standards • High level of independence paired with sound judgment to seek guidance when appropriate • Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for client-facing discussions
