📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and develop the Field Medical Advisor team, including goal setting, performance support, field coaching, capability building, and career development • Redesign and optimize Field Medical territories and coverage models • Establish operating standards, metrics, and ways of working for field planning, account engagement, insight capture, documentation, and follow-through • Oversee Medical Affairs support for live scientific exchange dinner programs • Oversee proactive and reactive scientific exchange with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders regarding current and emerging therapies • Serve as Medical Affairs point of contact for priority National Account customers and stakeholders • Provide medical onboarding and activation support for National Accounts • Capture, synthesize, and communicate strategic, clinical, customer, and competitive insights • Partner with Medical Directors and Medical Affairs colleagues to develop scientific resources and field tools • Represent Medical Affairs at congresses, advisory boards, roundtables, continuing education programs, and other approved scientific engagements • Collaborate with Commercial, Market Access, Training, Clinical, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, and other functions while preserving Medical Affairs independence • Ensure activities comply with corporate policies, healthcare laws, regulations, and industry standards • Contribute to Medical Affairs planning, special projects, and organizational initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Ability to travel 50% or more nationwide, including overnight and occasional weekend travel • Must live near a major airport • PharmD, PhD, MD, or other relevant advanced clinical/scientific doctorate required • 8+ years of relevant Medical Affairs, field medical, or related biopharmaceutical experience • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, team development, and change leadership • Experience designing or optimizing field territories, coverage models, account segmentation, or resource allocation • Experience recruiting, selecting, onboarding, and developing field-based medical talent • Ability to operate effectively as a player-coach • Advanced scientific presentation and facilitation skills • Ability to translate complex scientific and clinical information into clear, balanced, audience-appropriate exchange • Ability to develop and maintain credibility-based relationships with thought leaders, healthcare professionals, and senior customer stakeholders • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills • Experience supporting National Accounts, strategic accounts, or complex multi-site customer organizations strongly preferred • MBA or formal leadership/business training preferred • Aesthetics experience preferred
