📋 Description

• Install, validate, maintain, verify performance, and repair Revvity diagnostic testing instruments and equipment at customer sites • Provide preventative, remedial, warranty, and contract maintenance services within prescribed time frames • Drive toward zero service recalls • Travel significantly throughout the assigned geographic area, including long-distance and overnight travel • Provide billing information based on installation, warranty, and service agreement provisions • Sell value-added options including service contracts, upgrades, instrument add-ons, training, support, software, laboratory services, and hardware upgrades • Assist local sales representatives in securing new instrument orders • Contribute to division profitability through billable labor/travel, parts, support, installation, and consumables orders • Maintain electronic and repair documentation for dispatch, inventory, and service support • Complete required reports accurately and on time • Manage assigned company assets and inventory levels • Develop technical and soft skills through company-sponsored training and development • Attain higher-level certifications and maintain certification criteria associated with the CSE position

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree or Technical Degree with 4 plus years of experience in instrument installation, repairs, and maintenance OR Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Electronics, Mechanics, Biotechnology, or STEM discipline and 2 plus years of experience in instrument installation, repairs, maintenance • Valid driver’s license and good driving record • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle • Ability to frequently travel long distances and travel overnight • Knowledge of laboratory safety practices • Ability to follow written and verbal directions • Ability to read and understand technical bulletins and service manuals • Ability to work under time constraints • Ability to maintain alertness and concentration • Ability to work safely with potential electrical, chemical, radiologic, and biologic hazards using universal precautions • Ability to operate a personal computer to enter data and generate reports • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, peers, managers and other technical support professionals • Experience with Radioisotope Detection Systems (Beta and Gamma Counters) • Electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills • Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally • Ability to travel by air, vehicle and/or other means of transportation as business requires
