• Develop and enhance professional relationships with medical thought leaders and healthcare providers in metabolic and oncology therapeutic areas • Identify emerging thought leaders and key opinion leaders • Develop and execute projects and program materials aligned with launch readiness plans • Identify, communicate, capture, analyze, and report clinical, research, medical, and scientific insights • Participate in medical education through virtual and on-site presentations, investigator meetings, conferences, advisory boards, and regional meetings • Provide scientific support for medical congresses, advisory boards, and internal and external training • Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare professionals • Maintain current knowledge of therapy areas, products, research, therapeutic trends, and competitive landscape • Provide clinical presentations and scientific information in academic, community, and healthcare provider settings • Communicate emerging data and clinical experience through scientific exchange and peer-to-peer interactions • Support company-sponsored studies, collaboration studies, investigator-sponsored trials, and the Expanded Access Program • Evaluate scientific literature and evidence to inform internal strategy and external engagement • Identify and communicate publication opportunities • Contribute to launch readiness plans, strategies, and tactics • Collaborate cross-functionally across research, clinical development, regulatory, and commercial functions • Support advisory boards, speaker development, data generation, publication plans, and clinical trials • Document and forward adverse event and product complaint reports • Adhere to international, national, and local Codes of Practice and company policies • Maintain a personal development plan and prepare timely reports • Report to the Sr. Medical Director Endocrine Oncology
• Ability to research, critically analyze and communicate complex scientific/medical information and data • Clear and concise communication and presentation skills • Excellent planning and organization skills, with high-level attention to detail and accuracy • Strong strategic mindset • Highly self-motivated and ability to work autonomously • Ability to learn quickly, be flexible and results-focused in a rapidly changing environment • Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationship building, networking, collaboration and teamwork • Strong capabilities working with Microsoft suite of products and other digital platforms and tools • Excellent command of spoken and written English • Ability and willingness to travel; driving may be required • Knowledge of healthcare environment and external experts in academia and medical community • Demonstrated ability to develop trust and relationships with opinion leaders in disease states of interest • Understanding of regulatory requirements for field-based personnel • Advanced medical, clinical, or similar degree (such as MD, PhD, PharmD, PA or equivalent) • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a MSL or comparable industry or clinical role, including a minimum of 2 years’ experience in rare disease • Willingness to travel 60–75% of the time • Valid driver's license • Live within 60 miles of an airport serviced by at least one major airline
