• Conduct single-visit virtual evaluations for employees reporting work-related musculoskeletal symptoms across industrial, warehouse, fulfillment, corporate, and office-based roles • Use structured subjective histories and virtual objective examinations • Determine work-relatedness, injury acuity, severity, and appropriate level of care • Determine and initiate the correct next-step care pathway: self-directed home program, virtual PT episode of care, in-person specialist referral, or workers' compensation coordination • Characterize disabling conditions and functional limitations to support employer accommodation and duty-modification decisions • Identify red and yellow flags requiring urgent medical escalation and route accordingly • Generate concise, defensible documentation for workplace accommodation requests, injury reporting, and payer or employer review • Communicate and coordinate with patients, Care Coordinators, and employer or payer partners for clean handoffs and continuity • Communicate directly with employer accommodation team members as needed to clarify findings or functional limitations • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation • Adhere to clinical protocols, escalation pathways, and quality standards • Report to the VP of Care Delivery
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited program • Active, unrestricted physical therapy license in the state(s) where care will be delivered • PT Compact State licensure strongly preferred • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with preference for 5 years • Strong clinical reasoning skills and comfort making rapid, single-encounter evaluation and disposition decisions • Comfort practicing in a virtual/digital care delivery model, including remote evaluations and video-based patient education • Working knowledge of workplace accommodation, duty-modification, or return-to-work documentation • Primary residence in a PT Compact member state with an active home-state license in good standing, allowing quick acquisition of Compact Privileges in other member states as needed • Experience in occupational health, industrial/workplace injury evaluation, or work conditioning • Experience evaluating both industrial/physically demanding roles and office/sedentary roles • Prior experience supporting an employer-partner or workers' compensation population • APTA specialist certification (e.g., OCS, SCS) • Familiarity with functional capacity evaluation, ergonomics, or ADA/accommodation processes • Experience delivering care in virtual or digital health/telehealth-based models • Experience working in interdisciplinary or integrated care teams alongside medical providers
