📋 Description

• Raise design quality across Ro through direct contribution, exceptional visual craft, creative direction, and product thinking • Lead the evolution of Ro’s Design System, including its vision, roadmap, visual language, adoption, and impact • Shape how Design Systems enable AI-assisted product development using tools such as Claude and Figma Make • Bring creative direction to Vertical Growth and develop experiences that introduce prospective patients to Ro, communicate value, and improve conversion • Turn creative exploration into organization-wide leverage by codifying effective patterns into reusable systems • Lead complex design problems from ambiguity through execution • Mentor and challenge Senior and Staff designers and provide critique and craft leadership • Partner with Product Design leadership on the future of the patient experience • Report to the VP of Product Design and collaborate with Design, Product, Engineering, Growth, and Marketing

🎯 Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating sophisticated use of typography, composition, hierarchy, and storytelling alongside strong product-design fundamentals • 10 years of experience designing and shipping high-impact digital products across web and mobile • Ability to operate as both a systems thinker and hands-on maker • Experience building, evolving, or driving adoption of design systems at scale • Strong conceptual thinking and creative-direction skills • Experience designing consumer-facing experiences where brand, storytelling, growth, and conversion matter • Demonstrated Principal-level leadership and influence • Experience proactively identifying ambiguous, high-impact opportunities and aligning senior cross-functional partners • Experience raising the capabilities of experienced designers through work, critique, and mentorship
