📋 Description

• Manage daily departmental performance, resources, task prioritization, and metrics • Oversee daily team workload and operations • Hire, coach, and develop direct reports, including training and performance management • Facilitate communication and serve as an escalation or strategic contact • Lead or participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives • Develop training plans and materials for onboarding and employee performance • Provide coaching, mentorship, performance feedback, and career development plans • Partner with HR on talent management, employee relations, and development activities • Investigate clinical trial testing requirements and determine testing facilities • Review and prepare pricing documents and correct discrepancies • Maintain relationships with ACM and referral laboratories • Provide scientific and technical information for client RFPs and RFIs • Coordinate testing methods and document referred testing information throughout active trials • Channel information between Laboratory Operations and Sales • Alert leadership to study, testing, and referral laboratory issues • Conduct root cause analysis and implement improved work methods • Liaise with internal and external partners and participate in client teleconferences • Provide consultation and serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for internal and external clients • Update global SOPs and maintain templates and tools • Triage upcoming work and determine staffing capabilities and workload • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline or a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist • Minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience in a clinical setting, or a relevant regulated environment • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Strong time management and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines • Ability to work independently and in a team setting • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Generalist laboratory experience • Ability to lead and positively motivate others • Models a positive and solutions-oriented mindset
