📋 Description

• Develop in-depth knowledge of assigned EMR software application or support area • Troubleshoot software issues and analyze root causes to determine resolutions • Design, build, test, validate, and provide ongoing software support • Collaborate with application teams and operational owners • Communicate build changes and project plans to end users and leadership • Assist end users with proper application use • Implement approved changes according to customer priorities • Manage incidents, work orders, projects, RFCs, and Epic application requirements • Manage assigned RFCs while following defined processes and deadlines • Execute unit and system test cases and document results • Validate builds or issue resolutions with end users before closing requests • Follow system change-control guidelines • Review and test new builds and releases before production implementation • Transfer incidents to other teams after coordination with a team member • Attend meetings prepared and on time, or decline when unable to attend • Maintain voicemail and Outlook calendar • Provide peer assistance and remain approachable • Complete Project Dash updates and change-request documentation accurately and consistently • Document incident progress and update task status in Dash, Remedy, or other reporting systems • Perform application development and support tasks as requested • Participate in application design, build, validation, and advanced design sessions • Document build decisions using departmental standard formats • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's degree, preferred • Excellent customer service and communication skills • Understanding/knowledge of clinical/peripheral healthcare functions and work processes • Understanding of technology related to functional processes/workflow • EMR Certification to be obtained within 6 months after hire, if required for job function • Ability to work Monday to Friday during regular business hours, with off-hours as preferred/needed/able • Light work physical requirements: exerting up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently • Must meet any disease-specific program experience, educational, or continuing education requirements where applicable
