📋 Description
• Identify declining trees on satellite images • Identify tree species on satellite images • Quality control the work of the team, including correcting tree species, hazard trees, tree height, vegetation encroachment, and overhang • Work closely with the Lead Arborist on analyzing imagery to identify tree species and health
🎯 Requirements
• USA based • Mid-career arborist • Experience as a forester or arborist; ISA Certified Arborist ideally • Well versed with GIS tools like QGIS and ArcGIS • Experience interpreting tree characteristics from satellite images • Strong attention to detail • Exceptional verbal, written and visual communication skills in a fast-paced environment • Team player that seeks out feedback • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
