• Apply advanced technical expertise to automated system products throughout the system development life cycle • Design, develop, implement, modify, plan, estimate, feasibility-test, and evaluate automated system products • Recommend technical solutions aligned with operational and business objectives and technology capabilities • Provide input to management and leadership on software evaluations • Maintain strong service relationships between IT and application customers • Serve as a liaison between IT and other departments and entities • Maintain IT products, including planning and obtaining customer input and understanding existing functionality and limitations • Provide technical expertise, guidance, and direction to professional staff • Resolve complex problems • Participate in strategic planning for systems/applications development and modification • Review system requirements with customers and translate them into specific functions or deliverables • Analyze low-chart processes and recommend ways to reduce steps and increase efficiency through technology • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or related field and six years of system implementation experience, including directing, planning, and scheduling a major information system project; OR Associate’s Degree and seven years of experience; OR High School Diploma/GED and nine years of experience • Strong analytical, administrative, presentation, and project management skills • Understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts • Knowledge of messaging technology • Understanding of client/server configuration principles • Excellent knowledge of messaging technology and project management skills • Must reside in the greater Northeast Ohio (NEO) area • Ability to sit and remain stationary for prolonged periods • Normal or corrected vision and manual dexterity sufficient to work on a personal computer • Ability to walk to various locations throughout the Foundation • Ability to function in a stressful environment • ITIL Foundations certification preferred for Information Technology Division caregivers
