📋 Description

• Deliver high-quality healthcare services to patients in a virtual urgent care setting • Conduct virtual consultations • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, minor injuries, and a wide range of acute and minor medical conditions • Offer patient guidance while adhering to clinical protocols and standards of care • Assess patients and implement treatment plans • Monitor response for acute and chronic medical conditions • Select and order appropriate diagnostic and health maintenance procedures • Prescribe medication and provide health education and treatment guidance • Recommend community resources and refer patients to collaborating physicians or specialists • Update patient charts and billing codes • Complete required documents from outside agencies • Review test results, process medication refills, return patient calls, and complete clinical follow-up

🎯 Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred; primary care and virtual medicine experience also considered • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong attention to detail and superior customer service • MS: Nursing (Required) • NP - Nurse Practitioner Certification - New York State Education Department (NYSED) • RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED) • Ability to work Day/Evening and every other weekend schedules • Medium Work physical requirement: exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds constantly; frequent walking, standing or squatting • Must meet department-specific experience, educational, and continuing education requirements where applicable
