📋 Description

• Build Rocket Money’s customer lifetime value models and integrate them into marketing portfolio decision-making and optimization • Support internal marketing effectiveness measurement and estimation approaches • Lead projects from start to finish, making implementation and scope decisions while balancing technical and business goals • Design and conduct experiments to estimate the impact of marketing and product strategies • Lead a systematic marketing and product experimentation program • Contribute to product experimentation through expert experimental design, assessment, and collaboration with product managers • Work with data engineering and analytics teams to build scalable machine learning and data analytics pipelines • Develop and deliver internal predictive tools through continuous measurement, analysis, modeling, and hypothesis testing • Mentor team members, participate in code reviews, and ensure production system quality • Design and architect predictive feedback mechanisms for digital ad networks • Add new features to Rocket Money’s in-house experimentation engine • Drive operational changes using new marketing data science technology • Create scalable experimentation approaches and tooling for the broader data team

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in data science • Proficiency in SQL • Proficiency in at least one scripting language • Statistical modeling experience • Experience engineering scalable experimentation solutions • Direct experience building production grade tooling for operational use by teams of internal decision makers • Experience using experimental and observational data to drive marketing and product strategy • Experience building tools that implement marketing and product strategy at the tactical level • Experience designing optimal feedback signals between applications and ad networks or building experimentation platforms • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and communicate technical insights effectively • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills • Deep professional experience in several of: customer segmentation, customer lifetime value modeling, A/B testing and causal inference, media mix modeling • Experience in fintech, banking, or finance is a plus
