📋 Description

• Manage and track all phases of projects to ensure finished products are delivered complete, on time, and within budget • Communicate project progress and requirements to customers and all RMS disciplines • Maintain electronic and paper project folders for each project • Review and verify project kickoff paperwork and communicate discrepancies to the Commercial team • Coordinate project changes, adders, duration, and deliverables with marketing and sales • Review project scope and schedule engineering deliverables, including drawings, inspections, work instructions, and reports • Interface and coordinate communications between the shop, customers, and vendors • Develop drawing lists and required dates; track drawing progress and review completed drawings • Write work orders and requisitions based on drawings and work instructions • Assign material traceability numbers and purchase order numbers • Prepare and track purchasing requisitions through purchase order placement and delivery • Assist communications among vendors, RMS, the shop, engineering, drafting, purchasing, and customers • Prepare cost impact forms, final shipping request forms, project invoice requests, payment schedules, and percent-complete reports • Track work order progress and help the shop determine project priorities • Review project payment terms and identify billable shipping costs • Introduce the project manager to customers upon receipt of purchase orders and keep customers informed of project status • Review deliverables and invoices with customers • Coordinate customer witness and hold points throughout projects

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience is required, preferably in manufacturing or with rotating equipment • Exceptional ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time and resources effectively • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines • Exceptional attention to details • Display ownership and accountability for tasks and responsibilities • Adaptable to changing schedules • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work within a team • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required • JobBoss preferred • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required • Minimum expectation of 40 hours per week; additional hours, including evenings or weekends, may be required based on project needs • May be required to participate in company random or customer-specific drug and alcohol screening and background check • Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and background check • Able to understand, read, write and speak English • Ability to lift 30 pounds • Authorized to work in the United States • May need to meet government contract requirements for certain assignments
