📋 Description

• Support Risk & Regulatory Consulting in the overall growth and management of the practice area • Plan and lead integrated IT audits/examinations for clients • Execute daily project activities against detailed project plans, scopes, and objectives • Develop project plans and work programs • Manage scope changes, estimate impacts, document changes, and secure client approval • Build and foster project teams to deliver client-focused business solutions • Supervise work based on predefined project and work plans, as applicable • Conduct client status meetings, prepare and review deliverables, obtain sign-off, escalate issues, and identify additional work opportunities • Monitor project budgets against actuals using invoices and expense information • Review and approve project reports, timesheets, and expense reports • Contribute to business development through networking, events, proposals, and market insight • Define skills and estimated hours for proposals and author proposal content • Lead client training sessions, webinars, and presentations; author trade-magazine articles • Generate billable revenue and deliver quality client work • Serve as a Career Advisor through career development, mentoring, issue resolution, and performance management • Document and deliver end-of-project performance reviews and timely feedback

🎯 Requirements

• BS in MIS, Computer Science, or Accounting required • MBA and/or professional certifications preferred • Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in public accounting/professional services, preferably with a Big 4 firm • Insurance industry experience required • CISA designation required • CISSP and CPA designations preferred • Strong understanding of information systems risk assessments, controls review, and cybersecurity • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley, Model Audit Rule (MAR), COBIT, NIST, and SSAE 16 / SOC 1, 2, 3 frameworks and reports • Working knowledge of data-extract software such as ACL or IDEA preferred • IT security experience with Windows, Unix, routers, switches, databases, web security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, RACF, ACF2, z/OS, wireless, mobile, and cloud security • PC skills and experience producing presentations, spreadsheets, and project plans • Experience with TeamMate, Access, SQL, Visual Basic, Microsoft products, databases, and other applications • Demonstrated project management experience • Ability to interact with executives and senior managers • Strong interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and statistical-sampling skills • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Client-service skills and a collaborative, consultative approach • Self-motivated with strong work ethic and sense of urgency • Skilled in team building and team development • Flexibility to travel occasionally • Ability to demonstrate the Firm’s ethical and professional standards • RSM does not intend to hire entry-level candidates who require sponsorship now or in the future
