• Lead integration of Global Trade into the digital enterprise for Pratt & Whitney and its global sites • Advise Digital Technology and business transformation initiatives on Global Trade matters • Translate Global Trade requirements into business and technology requirements • Explain, defend, and challenge requirements with Global Trade, Digital Technology, business leaders, project teams, and senior executives • Assess and challenge initiatives where priorities, compliance requirements, risks, or business objectives are misaligned • Develop recommendations and drive issues to resolution • Lead evolution of the Automated Export Control System (AECS) value stream • Define future-state capabilities and advance automation, data-driven controls, and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) • Establish Global Trade governance and engagement models for technology initiatives • Ensure requirements are incorporated into architecture, processes, systems of record, and controls • Assess and strengthen the Global Trade control environment across digital tools and processes • Identify capability gaps, emerging risks, automation opportunities, scalability improvements, and operational efficiencies • Influence enterprise and corporate Global Trade initiatives • Provide strategic leadership and visibility across the portfolio • Surface risks and dependencies and enable senior leaders to make informed decisions • Build relationships and lead through influence across Global Trade, Digital Technology, and the business • Remove barriers and drive alignment in a highly matrixed global organization • Identify opportunities to improve Global Trade compliance through technology, processes, and data • Report to the Director, Global Trade, DT/GT and AECS
• Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years of experience in Global Trade, export compliance, trade technology or related roles, including experience with export control and sanctions regulations; OR an advanced degree and 10+ years of experience in those areas • Must be a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or other protected individual as defined in the posting • Substantive knowledge of jurisdiction and classification, authorizations and licensing, tangible imports and exports, intangible transfers, and sanctions and screening • Experience with enterprise platforms and technologies such as SAP/SAP GTS, classification and licensing solutions, sanctions screening, identity and access management, data governance, or compliance automation technologies • Experience designing or implementing automated Global Trade controls, export compliance systems, digital compliance capabilities, or ABAC • Experience translating regulatory or compliance requirements into technology requirements, system controls, and scalable business processes • Strong business acumen and ability to evaluate risk, business value, cost, and operational impact • Ability to operate effectively with senior executives and demanding stakeholders and influence outcomes without direct authority • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Experience across multiple geographies, business units, and regulatory environments is an asset • Experience applying Global Trade requirements to complex business and technology environments • Experience with automated trade compliance systems and digital technologies, including ERP/GTS platforms, classification solutions, screening platforms, data governance, or access-control solutions • Experience in a highly regulated industry or complex global environment • Experience working within or closely with a Digital Technology organization, including enterprise architecture, application development, data, access controls, and technology delivery processes • Strong strategic and analytical mindset • Strong leadership and influencing skills within a matrixed, global organization • Strong ownership and urgency, with ability to prioritize competing demands, escalate risks, and drive issues to resolution • Ability to travel between company sites approximately 10% of the time
