📋 Description

• Execute procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiation preparation, and cost analysis • Support purchasing activities for goods, materials, supplies, and services while ensuring terms are in the organization’s best interest • Prepare purchase orders, support payment approvals, and negotiate pricing under general guidance • Analyze supplier quotations, pricing information, financial data, and other relevant information to support reasonable pricing decisions • Prepare Requests for Proposal (RFPs), bid packages, and related procurement documentation for new business opportunities • Monitor supplier and contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and business requirements • Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, changes, cancellations, and other procurement-related matters • Communicate with suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and resolve shortages, missed deliveries, and other supply issues • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation while supporting reporting and administrative requirements • Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve procurement processes, supplier performance, and customer satisfaction

🎯 Requirements

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience, or in the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience • Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (Verbal and Written) • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required • Understanding of Lean Principles and continuous improvement methodologies • Understanding of contractual terms and conditions • Experience using SAP, particularly for MRP-related activities • Experience with supplier management, purchasing, sourcing, and procurement lifecycle activities • APICS or ISM certification preferred (CPIM, CPM, CSCP, or CPSM)
