📋 Description

• Own and manage SBU-specific supplier development KPIs, including leading and lagging indicators, to track supplier performance, risk, and maturity • Represent supplier development priorities in SBU staff meetings and communicate strategic alignment • Lead and support SBU tiered meetings, providing updates on supplier development efforts, escalations, and impact on critical programs • Align resource prioritization and supplier strategy with Value Stream Leaders and SBU stakeholders • Serve as the SBU focal representative for supplier quality, delivery, and readiness issues • Act as an escalation point of contact for teams as needed • Interface between SBU operations and Global Supplier Development to ensure handoffs, alignment, and feedback loops • Support SBU program planning so supplier capacity and development actions align with execution and NPI ramp-up timelines • Engage cross-functional program committees to support integrated supplier development strategies • Facilitate Supplier Development Plans within the assigned SBU with Global Supplier Development and commodity leaders • Drive collaboration across Sourcing, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to improve supplier performance • Support suppliers as needed, up to 50% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience • Demonstrated understanding of casting and/or forging products and their manufacturing processes • Proven history of effective cross-functional program leadership, KPI management, and escalation handling • Strong analytical skills, problem solving, and business acumen • Excellent communication skills • Demonstrated knowledge of supplier management and business • Experience with supplier risk management, APQP, AS9100, or complex manufacturing environments • Strong knowledge of supplier collaboration strategy, planning, and risk management frameworks • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under the program/contract • No security clearance required
