📋 Description

• Manage Supplier Quality & Development processes and projects as an individual contributor • Provide input on supplier qualification/certification, assessment, monitoring, escape management, and quality issue resolution • Manage supplier quality performance through prevention, monitoring, escalation, and nonconforming material processes • Support supplier onboarding and qualification/certification • Manage source inspection and material release processes • Drive escape management, root cause analysis, problem solving, and corrective/preventive actions • Analyze quality data to identify systemic issues and develop supplier-specific quality initiative strategies • Drive implementation of PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, and SPC • Ensure suppliers meet contract requirements including Resourcing Gate, PPAP acceptance, and Work Transfer implementation • Deploy Business Continuity management methodology at RTX suppliers • Establish projects to achieve quality-at-rate sustainability and supplier performance targets • Identify supplier weaknesses, capabilities, capacities, improvement areas, and development needs • Deploy GSQ TT tools, including Gemba walks, MPR, Quality Improvement Plans, Control Towers, LEAN, and Six Sigma • Communicate and present recovery plans to key stakeholders, leadership, and customers • Define and manage Supplier Transformation Projects • Support Strategic Sourcing commodities in supply chain strategy development • Develop quality mindset, continuous improvement, and preventive KPIs • Manage moderately sized projects or processes as a subject-matter expert • Provide research and guidance for Red-X and 8D root cause analysis and problem solving • Manage supplier qualification/certification, source inspection, material release, Corrective Action Boards, and DQ Clinics • Support the RTX ZERO program • Travel up to 75% domestically and internationally

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations • 8+ years of professional experience in a supply chain operations environment, including monitoring, auditing, or developing suppliers/operations, or equivalent • Experience in Quality Regulations and Quality Core Tools • Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) • Experience with QMS, including AS 9100 and ISO 9001 • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract • Bachelor's degree in engineering/industrial engineering preferred • Practical Problem Solving and International Management • Experience with FAA, TC, and EASA preferred • Auditing/Assessing, Risk Management, and Continuous Improvement (Lean Six Sigma) desirable • Green Belt/Black Belt certification and CPIM certification desirable • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to establish performance management supporting business objectives and deliverables • Ability to establish and manage a culture of improvement • Ability to adapt interaction styles to persuade stakeholders • Ability to build effective cross-functional teamwork • Ability to work in a multicultural context
