📋 Description

• Serve as lead financial analyst within the ES Digital portfolio • Manage overhead cost center expenses, including FTEs, software, hardware, and contractor labor • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and planning activities • Ensure compliance with CAS/FAR, AOP, Long-Range Plan targets, and disclosure statement obligations • Develop and maintain financial models, variance analyses, and performance dashboards • Prepare, manage, and reconcile prepaid and accrual journal entries • Partner with functional leadership to understand financial drivers and evaluate trade-offs • Analyze infrastructure cost allocations and support cost-optimization transformation initiatives • Prepare and present executive-level financial briefings • Contribute to goals, operational plans, and budgets • Coach, review, and support other finance professionals • Drive process improvements and reporting enhancements using Power BI and automated financial workflows • Implement improvements to processes, systems, and reporting tools • Influence finance policies, practices, and procedures • Manage and support internal and external audits • Communicate with customers, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders on financial governance matters • Support RTX’s aerospace and defense business through enterprise financial planning and analysis

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required • University Degree or equivalent finance or accounting experience including FP&A, overhead budgeting, or project support, and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience; or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience • Subject-matter expertise in FP&A • Advanced Excel, data modeling, and financial systems experience, including SAP, AO, PRISM, APEX, and Power BI • Experience with large data sets and data manipulation techniques, including budgeting, forecasting, actuals monitoring, and variance analysis • Experience with government compliance requirements (CAS/FAR) and disclosure statement governance • Experience coaching and developing lower-level finance professionals; reviewing and delegating work effectively • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Ability to meet critical deadlines and drive process improvements in a complex, matrixed environment • Practical knowledge leading and managing processes, projects, and tactics within one work area • Broad knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline • Advanced degree and 5 years of experience, or university degree/equivalent finance or accounting experience and 8 years of experience • Engineering/technical roles typically require a STEM degree and 8 years of relevant experience, although this role is finance-focused
