• Manage the initial review and handling of compliance matters involving potential violations of Global Trade laws and policies • Conduct initial investigations to determine whether violations of Global Trade law or policy have occurred • Evaluate allegations through interviews and document review • Collaborate with the larger Global Trade organization on investigations • Manage an active caseload in RTX’s GT360 matter-management tool • Brief Collins Aerospace leadership on ongoing Global Trade investigations • Develop and document corrective actions addressing policy violations • Document closure of matters without reasonable suspicion of regulatory violation • Monitor and track employee-assigned company asset losses and assess potential policy or regulatory violations • Monitor and track employee travel and assess potential policy or regulatory violations • Run reports from compliance and business systems and assess actionable trends • Serve on Collins Aerospace’s Central Global Trade Investigations & Disclosures team within Legal, Contracts, and Compliance • Report ultimately to the Director of the I&D team
• University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience • Strong experience in Excel • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract • Knowledge of export control laws, including the Export Administration Regulations and International Traffic in Arms Regulations • Prior experience conducting global trade investigations • Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, and provide guidance and practical solutions to cross-functional projects effectively and on time • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Ability to take initiative and proactively address compliance issues and complete deliverables with minimal oversight
