📋 Description

• Manage export/import licensing and compliance activities within Raytheon’s Land & Air Defense Systems Strategic Business Unit • Develop export and import strategies for international suppliers, purchase order issuance, and foreign manufacturing of defense and dual-use articles • Develop licensing plans and provide guidance on complex licensing strategies and program planning • Interpret and apply ITAR and EAR requirements for Business Unit employees • Prepare, submit, track, obtain, and manage export/import licenses, permits, certifications, TAAs, MLAs, and other authorizations • Develop export/import approvals for technology, technical data, hardware, and services • Review effort scope with functions, stakeholders, and foreign parties before submission • Obtain signed agreements and required documentation from foreign parties • Provide status updates to programs and stakeholders • Manage day-to-day execution of agreements and licenses and monitor authorization changes • Review and approve foreign travel, foreign visits, and export/import transactions • Maintain trade compliance records • Support learning, audit assessment, compliance investigations, audits, and corrective actions • Apply international trade regulations to real-life business situations • Handle complex permanent and temporary exports, temporary imports, re-exports, and re-transfers • Develop and deliver training for employees engaged in international business • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for export/import licensing personnel • Contribute to continuous improvement of licensing and compliance processes

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience • Experience applying U.S. global trade regulations, including ITAR, EAR, Customs, and ATF • Experience with DECCS, SNAP-R, OCR EASE, and/or SAP/GTS-related systems • Experience drafting, submitting, implementing, and managing agreements, licenses, General Correspondences, Third Party Transfers, complex export strategies, and/or similar requests • Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1 • U.S. citizenship required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance • Ability to work under time-sensitive circumstances, collaboratively or independently • Strong communication skills for developing and conducting stand-up training • Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills • Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret and implement global trade regulations • Strong attention to detail and time management skills • Ability to follow through and resolve ambiguous or incomplete situations while managing multiple high-priority needs
