📋 Description

• Support the U.S. Chronic Care organization by educating payors and policy makers through patient groups, professional societies, and industry associations • Build relationships with state- and federal-level stakeholders to shape public opinion and optimize patients’ access to Coloplast offerings • Report health policy and payment risks identified by Reimbursement and Market Access • Support Market Access, Reimbursement, and Government Affairs initiatives • Drive initiatives through patient groups, professional societies, industry associations, and other external forums • Manage relationships and represent Payors and Evidence initiatives with federal and state stakeholders • Develop compelling public affairs campaigns with internal teams and external public relations and media agencies • Measure campaign outcomes and recommend next steps • Mobilize stakeholders to educate and influence patients, healthcare providers, and payors • Coordinate execution of global campaigns • Create and deploy a public affairs engagement toolbox in commercial settings • Drive internal alignment between public affairs and Chronic Care business objectives • Partner with Coloplast and Comfort Medical teams to cultivate external stakeholder relationships and support business initiatives • Coordinate federal stakeholder engagement with the US Reimbursement and Government Affairs Director • Support US Market Access initiatives involving managed care, state-level access, policy expansion, and price protection • Comply with ethical and professional standards, laws, regulations, MedTech/AdvaMed codes, and company policies • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, language and culture, or political science from an accredited institution in a related field • Minimum 10 years of successful experience developing and executing patient advocacy or public affairs campaigns • Competence in communications, including storytelling, writing, strategic communications, and sound knowledge of new media • Ability to form strategic relationships with key personnel in stakeholder groups • Ability to manage multiple projects and drive results • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and spokesperson skills • Ability to express complex information and processes clearly, concisely, and compellingly • Complex stakeholder and project management skills • Willingness to travel as needed to support key initiatives • Preferred: Master’s degree in communications, business, language and culture, or political science • Preferred: Experience in patient advocacy, patient organizations, and/or public affairs in the medical device industry • Preferred: Experience driving public campaigns relevant to disability and healthcare inequity, unmet medical and emotional needs, social justice, personalized health care, mental health, human dignity, and chronic care coordination
