📋 Description

• Support and sometimes lead Supply Chain Execution, Customer Proposal, and Program Start-up efforts for the Ship Systems Integration & Sustainment portfolio • Act as liaison between program office, engineering, operations, quality, contracts, and finance organizations • Develop, coordinate, and execute material strategies supporting supply chain, portfolio, and business objectives • Manage supplier relationships and execution with Program Management, IPTs, Engineering, Quality, Production Control, and Procurement • Generate and execute supplier RFPs/RFQs and support gate review preparation • Support prime contract proposal activities for suppliers and ISC BOEs • Identify customer prime contract flow-downs and obtain required terms attachments or modifications • Obtain, understand, and process supplier proposals and quotes • Drive purchase order closeouts • Generate and process supplier new-add/reactivation requests • Generate and manage SCM material sales, EAC, and risk and opportunity estimates • Drive purchase requisition generation and purchase order placement • Execute and maintain Line of Balance (LOB) • Lead make/buy decisions and material affordability efforts • Assist with or lead material negotiations with suppliers and/or customers • Prepare and execute Material Program Plans • Participate in supplier engagements and reviews • Identify and execute mitigation plans for material impacts to program milestones

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience • Experience with MRP/ERP systems • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance • Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SOW) preferred • Experience working in a cross functional matrixed Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment preferred • Experience with Supplier Statements of Work (SOW) preferred • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) preferred • Estimating, proposal, Negotiation and/or capture experience preferred • Up to 25% travel required • U.S.-based role
