📋 Description

• Support Pratt & Whitney’s Digital Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) tower • Design, develop, enhance, and implement software solutions within the enterprise MES Center of Excellence • Support integrations with SAP ERP and other enterprise solutions • Create functional specifications and contribute to system design decisions • Manage activities within the software development lifecycle • Bridge gaps between business processes and MES functionality and capabilities • Translate customer requirements into solution designs • Troubleshoot business processes against system capabilities • Engage with DevOps solution management • Manage tasks with strong follow-up discipline • Support system testing and coordination • Support process mapping and solution design • Operate within an Agile methodology • Use JIRA to support DevOps management • Configure system workflows and user interfaces • Meet budget, deliverable, and schedule targets • Provide production and end-user support for MES solutions • Work with internal customers, external suppliers, and business partners to architect and build solutions • Manage suppliers and partners, including scheduling and status reporting for resources • Work on multiple projects simultaneously with regular reporting in a gated process • Author or provide input to functional requirements, technical design documentation, and test plans • Work with business teams to plan and implement projects and enhancements • Ensure compliance with RTX and Pratt & Whitney policies and procedures • Support MES MRO roadmap activities, next-generation solution deployments, new site implementations, and IIoT/Industry 4.0 integrations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Engineering, or related degree and 8+ years of experience in a related field; OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience in a related field • U.S. citizenship is required due to Government contractual requirements • 3+ years’ experience with MES disciplines, including process planning and work order execution • Knowledge of MRO or aftermarket processes • Knowledge of other manufacturing solutions • Ability to translate business requirements to functional specifications • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people and functional requirements to technical developers • Ability to learn existing system capabilities and structure quickly • Prior experience in software development, including JAVA and SQL • Detail oriented, analytical, and able to trace problems • Strong communication skills • Team player with strong follow-up skills and ability to build positive relationships • Excellent judgment and professional business maturity • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office • Self-starter with ability to identify process improvement opportunities • Ability to work with customers in different time zones, including outside normal business hours • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically/internationally
