📋 Description

• Design, develop, enhance, and implement software solutions within Pratt & Whitney’s enterprise MES Center of Excellence • Integrate MES with SAP ERP and other enterprise solutions • Support process planning, manufacturing execution, and Manufacturing Operations Management • Troubleshoot software applications, systems integration, and compatibility issues • Manage activities within the software development lifecycle • Bridge gaps between business processes and MES functionality and capabilities • Translate customer requirements into solution designs • Author functional specifications • Troubleshoot business processes against system capabilities • Engage with DevOps solution management • Manage tasks and follow up on deliverables • Meet budget, deliverable, and schedule targets • Provide production and end-user support for MES solutions • Work with internal customers, external suppliers, and business partners to architect and build system solutions • Manage suppliers and partners, including schedules and resource status • Work on multiple projects simultaneously with regular reporting in a gated process • Provide input to system functional requirements, technical design documentation, and test plans • Work with business teams to plan and implement projects and enhancements • Ensure compliance with RTX and Pratt & Whitney policies and procedures • Support worldwide manufacturing facilities and future MES deployments, new site implementations, IIoT, and Industry 4.0 initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, Engineering, or related degree and 8+ years of experience in a related field; OR an Advanced Degree in one of these fields and 5+ years of experience in a related field • U.S. citizenship is required due to Government contractual requirements • Skills around system testing and coordination • Skills to support process mapping and solution design • Skills with navigating and operating in an Agile methodology • Skills with JIRA in support of DevOps management • 3+ years of experience with MES disciplines preferred • Knowledge of other manufacturing solutions preferred • Ability to translate business requirements to functional specifications preferred • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people and functional requirements to technical developers preferred • Prior experience in software development (JAVA, SQL, etc.) preferred • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred • Up to 10% domestic/international travel may be required • Ability to attend select interview steps in person if requested
