📋 Description

• Source, negotiate, award and document purchases for materials, services, and supplies • Compile and analyze data to perform price analysis and review proposals to establish price objectives • Support early supplier identification and engagement for new business pursuits • Lead Supply Chain bid/proposal activities for strategic pursuits • Utilize source selection techniques such as best value and Total Cost of Ownership • Perform cost analyses, conduct negotiations and identify supplier risks • Interface with Integrated Product Teams to understand technical challenges and provide solution options for buy technologies • Provide risk and opportunity analysis for early capture related to introducing new suppliers • Communicate prime contract, quality, terms and conditions requirements to suppliers • Manage supplier performance against cost, schedule and quality requirements • Interface with internal and supplier cross-functional organizations • Track industry trends and manufacturing processes • Assist in developing bids and agreements • Execute customer requirements, government regulations, public law and Raytheon policies and procedures • Conduct quotation activities and supplier negotiations • Prepare purchase order documentation • Select qualified suppliers and seek alternate suppliers when applicable • Manage suppliers post-award in accordance with company directives and work instructions • Compile Long Term Agreements and/or Pricing Agreements

🎯 Requirements

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years relevant experience in a procurement/supply chain role • Experience placing POs/Subcontracts of high complexity and processing high volume POs across various business units • Experience effectively managing job responsibilities in a virtual environment with minimal supervision • Experience performing price and cost analysis, source selection/justification, analysis of supplier quotation • DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (FAR/DFARS) • Ability to place POs over TINA dollar threshold • Knowledge of buying complex electrical and mechanical assemblies • Leadership skills – influence, presence, ability to interface internally and with suppliers • Negotiation skills, including ability to lead formal negotiations and teleconferences • Experience reading drawings • Use of standard computer systems focused on supplier management processes (SAP-PRISM) • U.S. citizenship is required • Security clearance is not required
