📋 Description

• Serve as technical leader and test engineer on medium to large engineering development teams creating Command and Control software products • Perform full life-cycle systems engineering, including requirements analysis, definition, architecture design, trade studies, integration, verification and validation, formal testing, and software installation • Act as a department systems engineering subject matter expert to solve critical technical problems • Mentor other engineers • Design, develop, and test advancements in Multi-Sensor and Information Fusion, Networked Situational Awareness, and Visualization technologies • Lead software integration and testing across multiple operating environments • Support on-site customer software installation and systems integration • Lead formal software qualification tests and demonstrations

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as lead systems or test engineer on a software development program • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance • U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility • Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1 • Experience with Link 16 Tactical Data Link, Command and Control, Surveillance/Radars, Air Traffic Control, Mission Planning, Missile Systems, Combat/Fire Control Systems, Aegis, or SSDS Mk II preferred • Experience with systems-of-systems software integration and testing across Linux, Windows, virtual machines, and containers preferred • Experience with Java, C++, Linux shell scripting, PowerShell, and Python preferred • Experience with on-site customer software installation, systems integration, formal software qualification tests, and demonstrations preferred • Understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering and UML preferred • Understanding of requirements development and requirements management tools such as DOORS preferred • Understanding of system architecture design and modeling tools such as Cameo, Enterprise Architect, or Rational Suite preferred • Understanding of systems engineering concepts, practices, procedures, and ISO/IEC/IEEE standards preferred
