📋 Description

• Manage procurement activities for key suppliers in the Energetics & Propulsion Commodity • Support the Air & Space Defense Systems Strategic Business Unit • Perform subcontract management of purchase orders using integrated supply chain models • Prepare RFQs, RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitations • Analyze quotations and proposals using price/cost analysis techniques • Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations covering price, delivery, and terms • Place high-dollar, complex purchase orders • Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation plans and solutions • Travel to RTX and supplier facilities as necessary, typically quarterly or more • Manage escalations and resolve internal customer and supplier issues • Manage financial goals related to subcontract deliveries • Drive business factory MRP success • Drive metrics including Late to Place, Late to Dock, and Delinquent Material • Develop cost-reduction initiatives and performance-improvement plans • Report to the Procurement Senior Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR an advanced degree and 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or a similar role • Knowledge of and compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or experience in heavily regulated industries • Experience with written contractual authorization/vehicles, including Firm Fixed Price and Cost Plus • U.S. Person status or eligibility to obtain necessary export authorizations • U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Finance, or STEM preferred • Aerospace industry experience preferred • Ability to analyze cost and pricing data and determine proposal compliance • Ability to understand technical requirements for procured hardware and services, including Statements of Work (SOW) • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities • Practical knowledge leading and managing processes, projects, and tactics within one work area • Broad knowledge within a specific technical or professional discipline
