📋 Description

• Responsible for PCB designs from conception through manufacturing • Create PCB, CCA, and schematic drawings for suppliers • Perform schematic capture, component placement, trace routing, and Gerber/ODB++ file creation • Use Siemens Xpedition Enterprise and BluePrint-PCB for drawings • Design Rigid, Flex, and Rigid-Flex assemblies • Complete full designs, re-spins, drawing updates, change notices, copper changes, and process improvement projects • Interface daily with Electrical, Mechanical, Components, Test, and Producibility Engineering disciplines • Ensure overall design requirements are captured while considering cost, cycle time, and producibility • Travel to El Segundo, CA approximately three times per year

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience • Minimum of 5 years of experience • Experience in at least two of: PCB manufacturing or CCA manufacturing principles affecting circuitry and component layout; electrical design process; laying out Rigid, Flex, or Rigid-Flex boards • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance • U.S. citizenship required • Active and existing DoD Confidential security clearance required after day 1 • Preferred: working knowledge of Analog, Digital including DDR, RF, Power, mixed technology, multi-layer and HDI designs • Preferred: Siemens Xpedition toolset, schematic capture, placement, routing, auto-router, constraint manager, library tools, and BluePrint • Preferred: Gerber and ODB++ formats • Preferred: Valor NPI and Design for Manufacturing rule sets • Preferred: IPC 6012 and IPC 6013 • Preferred: military and commercial design standards, GD&T, and electronic packaging producibility • Preferred: RF circuitry and filter knowledge • Preferred: Microsoft Windows operating system concepts and network services
