📋 Description

• Manage projects involving engineers, designers, controls, and scheduling professionals for nuclear power plant modifications • Coordinate internal and external departments throughout the project execution lifecycle • Execute projects and coordinate required resources from each discipline • Own project performance, including safety, schedule, budget, reporting, and client experience • Manage and direct project teams; ensure accountability; mentor and coach team members • Maintain positive working relationships with client task engineers and stakeholders • Lead efforts to complete projects safely, satisfactorily, on time, and within budget • Support reporting of key performance indicators for schedule, budget, and dashboard items • Identify and control construction risk • Recognize, track, and control project changes • Communicate and consult with stakeholders and supervisors • Prepare clear, concise technical reports and studies meeting client requirements and Sargent & Lundy formats • Analyze issues and provide solutions to improve results

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited program with academic coursework in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfers • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams • 10+ years of experience in a technical field (engineering, construction, planning, etc.) • 5+ years of experience serving as a firm/client liaison in a support or lead role • Ability to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in a collaborative team setting • Schedule development and management • Budget management • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; the employer does not sponsor employees for U.S. work authorization • Construction management or a management/business degree is valued but not required • Engineering design experience is a plus • PMP Certification is a plus • MBA is a plus • Experience writing proposals is a plus
