📋 Description

• Support innovation initiatives • Support campus master planning • Provide support to the Vice President, Architecture for a multi-phase, campus-scale construction project • Oversee preparation and final approval of project contract documents produced by third-party design consultants • Ensure project designs are completed on schedule and within budget • Supply engineering expertise and guidance on projects, operations, and systems within existing facilities • Develop and maintain equipment specifications for owner-furnished and contractor-installed equipment and systems • Support procurement through vendor submittal reviews, approvals, and factory witness testing • Maintain and update legacy basis-of-design documents • Assist in developing new basis-of-design documents for emerging business needs • Identify, recommend, and implement technologies and systems to maximize data center energy and cost efficiency • Communicate and implement engineering and design policies, practices, standards, and security measures • Maintain knowledge of emerging engineering and design technologies and trends • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration is Preferred (Mechanical) • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the design of data centers and specification of HVAC equipment for mission critical facilities to be considered for Director level position • Candidates with 5-7 years’ experience in design of data centers can apply but will be considered for a Manager level position • Expertise in IT cooling technologies, both air and direct to chip liquid • Understanding of mechanical cooling system control • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint • Baseline proficiency of AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Adobe Acrobat • Must be eligible to work in the United States • Must pass comprehensive background screening • Estimated 25-33% domestic travel
