• Lead Raytheon-wide CORE initiatives spanning businesses and functions • Collaborate across the organization to optimize the business, solve complex problems, and maximize customer success • Partner on and manage improvement initiatives, including scope, cost, schedule, financial forecasting, project/resource planning, and risk/opportunity mitigation • Define, track, and maintain project metrics, milestones, critical paths, and initiative performance • Prepare and deliver communications and updates for leadership • Coach, mentor, facilitate, and train employees in CORE methods and tools • Accelerate development of CORE Experts-in-Training • Influence and guide complex cross-functional initiatives • Inspire innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement across teams • Build teams around problem-solving, collaboration, and shared goals • Transform functional or program expertise into continuous improvement strategies
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant work experience • Experience in Raytheon program processes/cadence • Experience partnering with and influencing managers and stakeholders across the organization • Experience driving transformational change, process improvement, efficiencies, and/or cost reduction/avoidance using project and change management skills • CORE Expert or equivalent certification, such as Six Sigma Black Belt • CORE Expert-in-Training with advanced progress in the EiT journey map may be considered • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance • U.S. citizenship required • Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1 • Experience leading, training, and coaching Lean and Six Sigma methods and tools preferred • Background in cost reduction, EAC improvement, or synergy creation preferred • Master’s degree in Business, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field preferred • Advanced certification in Lean/CORE/Six Sigma or equivalent external certification preferred • Frequent domestic travel of 25% or more
