The platform works with over 120 insurance plans nationwide (including Medicare, Medicaid, and many major commercial carriers), verifies coverage, provides cost estimates, and offers in-network pricing (average $15 per session with insurance) and cash rates for self-pay. Rula supports 90+ conditions (anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, etc. ), provides tools for scheduling and managing appointments, and offers resources like tests/quizzes and a provider directory spanning all 50 states. It serves patients directly and partners with employers, health plans, and health systems, and emphasizes clinical standards, provider reviews, and ongoing professional development.

📋 Description

• Support Rula’s new Trust and Safety team as the core technical data expert • Protect the platform and evaluate healthcare claims • Ensure operations meet regulatory standards • Review billing patterns and identify data anomalies • Deliver clear analytics to legal and compliance partners • Query large, complex datasets and apply medical coding frameworks • Build proactive models and protective guardrails • Safeguard Rula’s legal standing and protect patient care • Report directly to the Sr. Analytics Manager of Business Intelligence

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of related professional experience in analytics, data science, or forensic data investigation • Expert proficiency in SQL and Python/R • Experience querying large datasets, building data logic, and identifying systemic anomalies • Expertise with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Hex, or Mode • Ability to build automated risk-monitoring pipelines and compliance dashboards • Proven ability to translate complex technical data discoveries into clear risk assessments for non-technical leadership and legal partners • Deep understanding of data integrity auditing practices • Experience tracking discrepancies, gaps, or historical anomalies in complex data infrastructure • Prior healthcare compliance, legal operations, or Trust & Safety experience preferred • Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, or HCPCS and health insurance reimbursement pipelines preferred • Experience with healthcare claims data preferred • Fast-paced, high-growth startup experience preferred • Ability to connect analytics insights to corporate risk mitigation strategy preferred • Must be based in the United States; Rula is currently not hiring in Hawaii
