📋 Description

• Lead and scale Runpod’s core cloud and bare-metal environments • Establish rigorous Site Reliability Engineering practices • Oversee the design, scaling, and operation of global network backbone • Direct architecture and performance tuning of distributed storage systems • Hire, mentor, and grow engineering managers and senior ICs • Partner with product teams to forecast capacity requirements • Drive measurable improvements in infrastructure reliability • Provide architectural oversight for provisioning and network fabrics • Ensure infrastructure primitives are robust and available.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years leading software, infrastructure, SRE, or networking teams • 8+ years building and operating large-scale distributed systems • Strong architectural understanding of ultra-low latency networking • Experience building high-performance distributed storage systems • Strong foundation in reliability engineering and infrastructure-as-code • Experience building culture across distributed technical teams • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Successful completion of a background check.
