📋 Description

• Lead the day-to-day operations of assigned group captive insurance programs as the captive’s Chief Operating Officer • Support the team handling technical aspects of the captive • Collaborate with Captive Executives, Business Development Executives, and other Program Managers • Oversee underwriting information flow from submission to proposal production • Review submissions and underwriting data for accuracy and completeness before actuarial pricing • Collaborate with underwriting to create timely and accurate proposals • Maintain relationships with brokers, service providers, and members • Facilitate board meetings and communicate program status and updates • Oversee underwriting documentation for renewals and board books • Coordinate with the captive domicile manager to maintain board books, financials, renewal books, and slide decks • Monitor premium collection and ensure accurate financial reconciliation with the captive domicile manager and policy issuing carrier • Maintain financial integrity and compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in property and casualty insurance • Exposure to captive programs ideally • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including executive leadership and production • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems and apply sound judgment to technical and operational challenges • High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat • Positive, proactive attitude with commitment to customer service and business culture
